Carmelo Anthony speaks on Rockets

After Houston’s 121-102 rout of the Denver Nuggets Monday night, there was an interesting scene in the Nuggets locker room. Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony had us (the Houston media) wait by his locker for 20-30 minutes as he went to the trainers room, then word got to the locker room that Carmelo was out in the hall and saying goodbye. Potential trade targets include Nene, Granger

In the movie True Lies, comedian Tom Arnold surprisingly nails his character, pulling off a complementary role next to action star Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is genuinely funny, has good chemistry with the superstar and, for two hours, you forget he’s sleeping with Roseanne Barr. But remove Schwarzenegger from the cast and there’s a gaping hole. Rockets show Melo he can win in Houston

Chase Budinger and Courtney Lee had some nice dunks in the first half Coming off an 0-2 West Coast road trip, the Rockets arrived at the Toyota Center for their home opener with a sense that they needed to seriously recommit themselves to defense.
