With no answer for Ellis, Rockets get rolled

There’s a sour taste in my mouth, and it has little to do with these Chewy Lemonheads I raided from my kid’s Halloween bag. Houston’s defense, the team’s primary focus during training camp (See: 1 | 2 | 3), was a no-show Wednesday night as Monta Ellis ruptured the Rockets for 46 points to lead the Warriors to a 132-128 win and drop Houston to 0-2. Rockets, Scola brighten day of man battling cancer

Kaes Maish’s life was turned upside-down nearly 5 years ago when he was diagnosed with cancer. The father of four has been through the harsh treatments — chemo, radiation and most recently proton therapy — but each time he takes a step forward, it seems to knock him two steps back.
